First, I want to thank all the people who have come to me to volunteer to help this committee restore integrity and honor to Islip Town Hall. Without the help of all of them, my job would be impossible. Recently, the committee has completed phase one of the job. We have, once again, found outstanding candidates to accomplish the mission.
With Tom Croci as our candidate for Islip Town Supervisor, and John Cochrane, Jr., and Anthony Senft as our candidates for Town Board, the committee has put in place a team to get the mission accomplished. These men have all devoted their lives to true public service, their country, and their families. Each of their extensive, and exemplary military backgrounds demonstrates that they are truly "special." Tom Croci's service in Afghanistan and his work in the White House under two Presidents, shows the leadership and integrity needed to lead our Town. John Cochrane, Jr. and Anthony Senft also rose to ranks in their service to our country that illustrate the level of leader ship and integrity needed in Islip Town Hall, where those qualities are clearly lacking under the present administration.
Alexis Weik, our candidate for Islip Receiver of Taxes, provides that same level of honesty and integrity, which is vital to the office of Receiver of Taxes. Alexis has worked as the Deputy Receiver of Taxes under the Honorable Virginia E. Allen, who is retiring, and has the knowledge and experience to do the job right. Olga Hopkins-Murray, our Town Clerk candidate, will draw upon her experience as a former prosecutor and attorney to bring a high level of accountability, competence and civility to the Clerk's office in Town Hall that will be unparalleled in town government.
The team is in place, the mission is clear, and we are united in purpose. The support team-you, the volunteers-are all we need to be successful. I invite you to join us in making Islip the shining jewel of Suffolk County. Please consider donating you time, talent or treasure to the cause.
Sincerely,
Frank A.Tantone
